West Drumochter Munros Sgairneach Mhor, Beinn Udlamain, Gael-Charn, Mharconaich Start Point. These hills can be reached most easily from Balsporran Cottages, which are located next to the A9 about 4 kilometres south of Dalwhinnie. There, there is plenty of parking. The hill route concludes in Drumochter Pass, which is located approximately 4 kilometres south of Balsporran Cottages; consequently, having a bike left at the end point or arranging transportation will prevent an unpleasant walk on the cycle route that follows closely behind the A9 the entire way back!
