On this lovely and captivating river, which is romantic, untouched, gorgeous, tranquil, and full of animals, you could be forgiven for assuming that you had gone back in time. The river is full with animals. Due to the fact that ferries can only travel as far inland as Helford Village, experiencing the Helford from the water is the greatest way to do it. However, if the winds coming from the east are too high, the rental companies won't let you go out on the lake.
