Taking the A82 from Glasgow to Fort William via Loch Lomond on your motor Motor bike, it is about 109 miles from the city of Glasgow depending on the route you take. The A82 is the start of the West Highland Way it stretches 96 miles from Milngavie in Glasgow, to Fort William, taking in a huge variety of scenery along the way, the drive will take about 3 hours, depending on the traffic and how quickly you want to get there. The road is the second longest A road in Scotland after the A9, It runs up the western shore of Loch Lomond, through Crianlarich and Tyndrum, then passes the western fringes of Rannoch Moor, through Glen Coe and along Loch Linnhe to Fort William. There is nothing like the ability to stop wherever you want, hang around as long as you want and take detours to reach even more beautiful areas along the way. Passing through some of the worlds most impressive scenery, From iconic mountain views to gorgeous waterfalls, glens full of history of a turbulent past, to fairy tail castles, going back in time.
