The Highlands are the location of the ski resort known as The Lecht (United Kingdom, Scotland). There are 18 kilometres of slopes accessible for those who want to ski or snowboard. In the warmer months, the centre offers two mountain bike routes; however, there is no need to exert yourself climbing the hill since you can just link your bike to the three-person chairlift and ride it up. It is suggested to call ahead of time to verify the weather conditions before travelling since heavy winds might impair how smoothly the chairlift operates.
