Stornoway, the capital of the island, is located a short distance away and offers all of the conveniences associated with a bustling town, including a busy harbour, a ferry to the mainland, and a small airport. A wonderful sandy beach with a pier for fishing, Bayble beach is a great place to spend the day. This is a small harbour that can only accommodate smaller vessels.
