Routes for Hiking:

Ord Hill Circular Walk: This is a short and pleasant walk that takes you up Ord Hill, which overlooks Muir of Ord and offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The trail begins at the base of Ord Hill and travels clockwise around the hill.

Glen Affric: If you want a walk that will test your abilities, you should go to Glen Affric. It is a lovely glen that features a multitude of hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty. There are a few popular routes, including the Dog Falls Trail and the Plodda Falls Trail.

This is a linear walking route that follows the ancient railway line from Strathpeffer to Dingwall. It connects the two towns of Strathpeffer and Dingwall. The trek is not too difficult and offers some beautiful vistas of the surrounding area.

Routes for Cyclists:

Cycling on the Black Isle The Black Isle, which is located not too far from Muir of Ord, is home to some fantastic chances for cyclists. The peninsula can be discovered via a variety of beautiful driving routes, one of which is the Black Isle Circular Route.
