Betty Hill Scottish Highlands Fishing.
With echoes of the Highland Clearances that are never far away in Bettyhill, the coastal settlement was developed after thousands of people were cleared from the Naver valley between 1811 and 1821.
Today the River Naver on the north coast of Scotland has a more tranquil and peaceful out line, it is well situated as a base for exploring the many excellent trout lochs in and around Strath Naver, they all providing fabulous fly fishing for truly wild trout in the most magnificent wild surroundings, and impressive mountain scenery including two Munros.

When fishing in Scotland, you are never far from rivers or the sea, whether you’re rod fishing, deep sea fishing or fishing on a loch.
The general fishing season is between April/May and September/October, you will need a permit for most freshwater fishing.
