Appuldurcombe House is situated on the Isle of Wight. The remains of a Baroque this house found near Wroxall that for some 300 years was the seat of the Worsley family and is now in the care of the Ministry of Engilsh Heritage. It is set in gardens thet were originally laid out by Capability Brown. Nearby stands an obelisk in memory of Sir Robert Worsley, dated 1774. Wroxall is a good point for visitors to explore the downs.
