As one of the busiest train stations in Scotland, Inverness provides a gateway for locals and tourists alike. This station guide will provide you with all the information needed to ensure that your journey runs smoothly.

For those arriving from Glasgow or Edinburgh, there are direct services available which arrive just outside Inverness city centre – perfect if you’re planning on visiting nearby Loch Ness! There is also an hourly service running between London King's Cross and Inverness - making transportation easier than ever before.
To make sure your stay at Inverness has everything it needs for a successful trip, we recommend pre-booking tickets online prior to travel day so as not waste time queuing up once arrived. The station can be easily reached by car via public transport links such as bus routes 13A & 16B operating from central parts of town directly into the station grounds itself; otherwise free parking spaces are located near Platforms 4 through 8 subject to availability on arrival days during peak times only (this cannot be guaranteed). With multiple facilities such as post boxes accessible throughout its premises; Wi-Fi access in most waiting rooms and shops offering anything from basic refreshment items like food snacks & drinks right down souvenirs/cards etc., our visitors experience convenience whilst still enjoying their travels here too!
