You start about one kilometer south of the Flodigarry Hotel at Loch Langaig and follow a signposted path to the west. At the waypoint "diversion" it is possible to hike north towards Fir Bhreugach. We went south through the Quiraing on a well marked trail. After about 1/3 of the total distance there is a possibility for a hiker's parking on the road between Uig and Brogaig to a cozy rest. Here you could easily cancel the tour and pick up. Continue south to the Bioda Buidhe and continue along the ridge. At height Bealach Uige (waypoint "branch Uig") you can, if feeling tired go directly to Uig descend (about 5-6 kilometers). If you still feel like walking on the Beinn Edra and then comes for the first time over 600 meters. Then down again to the waypoint "branch Uig" and west to follow the track to Uig.
