10 mile round trip walk from Affric car park to the top of Loch Affric, we had the whole walk to ourselves didn't see any body else for the whole 10 miles, this is a nice walk with our dogs.
Glen Affric is a popular tourist destination that draws a large number of visitors each year. Nevertheless, striking a balance between the requirements of tourists and the sensitive ecosystem of the region may be challenging at times. As a consequence of this, the Forestry Commission has sometimes given the impression that it is unwilling to market the glen, despite the fact that it has offered a variety of tourist amenities. A single-lane road that begins close to Cannich is the only public route that leads into Glen Affric. This route, which is about 16 kilometres long, terminates at the River Affric, where there are three parking lots: one near Dog Falls, one at Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin, and one at the River Affric.
