The Strathglass area offers a mountain biking experience to rival anywhere in the country.
The strath stretches inland from Beauly and Loch Ness, offering a multitude of forest trails along the way, culminating in the three stunning Glens of Affric, Cannich and Strathfarrer, 

There are many different routes and trails to choose from. 

From a base in either of the villages of Cannich, Tomich & Struy, you are within very easy reach of these wonderful places. 

The forestry roads are ideal for leisurely cycling, being free from traffic and quiet, they wind their way through the forests to get you to most destinations. 

Glen Strathfarrer, the quietest of all the three Glens, it is virtually traffic free with the easiest access, with quiet roads that take you deep into the glens, and numerous forest tracks and off road routes to satisfy the mountain bike enthusiast.

The lochs and rivers around the Strathglass area are widely recognised for their superb trout and salmon fishing.

The landscapes, provides a great show with the seasons, with the diverse wildlife being a great attraction for photographers,

Don't forget your camera as you're almost guaranteed to come across herds of deer 

The Strathglass area is rich in heritage and culture and has been an inspiration to artists, musicians and writers for centuries, take your time and admire the truly wonderful beauty it has to offer, So if you have a mountain bike, be sure to bring it with you to Strathglass, this is truly the ideal wilderness cycling
