The grounds surrounding Inveraray Castle provide delightful strolls where you can take in the natural beauty of the estate. There are walkways that have been well-maintained that go through gardens, woodlands, and along Loch Fyne's shore. The castle itself is a must-see because it features stunning architecture and a fascinating past.

The Dun na Cuaiche Woodland Walk ascends to Dun na Cuaiche, a lookout point with views of Inveraray and Loch Fyne. A delightful walk, the trail weaves through woodland and provides expansive views from the top.

The Loch Fyne Circular Walk offers stunning views of the loch and the surrounding hills as it circles around the beaches of Loch Fyne. It's a short stroll with lots of possibilities to see birds and take in the tranquil waterscape.

The Falls of Lora are a tidal race where waters from Loch Etive meet the sea, only a short drive from Inveraray. You can see this amazing natural phenomenon by taking a leisurely stroll down the shore.

Even though it's not located in Inveraray, the Argyll Forest Park is close by and has a variety of walking and hiking pathways for people of all ability levels. If you're up for it, you can explore lush forests, serene lochs, and even climb more difficult summits.

Although a little further distant, the Kilchurn Castle trek is a well-liked option. It leads to the ruins of Kilchurn Castle, which are framed by the gorgeous loch and neighbouring mountains, along the northeastern beaches of Loch Awe.

Before starting any walk, make sure to verify the local weather and trail information. Also, be sure to dress appropriately and bring the right footwear. Additionally, follow any rules and signage to help protect the area's natural beauty.
