Whaligoe Steps Walk: This walk will lead you down the famous Whaligoe Steps to the old fishing harbour at the bottom of the hill. The steps offer a novel and picturesque approach to access the harbour, and along the way, you can take in some of the most beautiful views of the coastline.

Castle of Old Wick Trail: If you want to learn more about the Castle of Old Wick, there is a path that you may take that will lead you to the ruins of the castle. The route provides visitors with sweeping views of the ocean in addition to historical knowledge.

Sinclair's Bay Coastal Walk: Take a stroll along Sinclair's Bay, beginning in Latheron and continuing down the shoreline. This walk is a part of the Sinclair's Bay Coastal Walk. Following this path will allow you to take in the beautiful views of the bay and the rocks that surround it.

Latheron is located along the North Coast 500 Drive, which is a well-known stretch of roadway that travels through the area. This circuitous route will take you on an adventure through some of the most beautiful parts of the Scottish Highlands, including hilly topography and coastline vistas.

Lybster Circular stroll: Travel to the neighbouring village of Lybster to take part in a pleasant stroll that loops you all the way around the community, taking in the quaint harbour and other coastal locations along the way.

Latheronwheel Circular Walk: If you do this walk that goes in a circle around the Latheronwheel region, you'll be able to get a better feel for the landscape around the village and take in some beautiful views of the North Sea.

Dunbeath Strath Trail: If you are interested in going on longer treks, the Dunbeath Strath Trail will take you along the banks of the River Dunbeath. This will give you the opportunity to enjoy more of the rural landscapes that Caithness has to offer.

Coastal Drives and Exploration The roads that surround Latheron provide beautiful coastal drives with beautiful perspectives. You may easily tour the coastline and take in the stunning panoramas by driving for only a short amount of time.
