Liddington is a village in Wiltshire, to the southeast of Swindon, with views of the Vale of the White Horse and the Lambourn Hills. Around 15 minutes north of Marlborough, the settlement is on the edge of the Marlborough Downs. Since the beginning of recorded history, the parish has been a place of settlement. The Ridgeway is located in the parish to the north of the hamlet, and Liddington Castle, an Iron Age hill fort, overlooks the modern-day community.

A primary school and a church are located in the village, while Wanborough is close by. The M4 motorway, the A419 to Cirencester, and quick train connections from Swindon to London Paddington are all easily accessible from Liddington.
From a vacation rental designed for two, the Downs and the historic Ridgeway walkways offer lovely hikes. There are also riding and cycling routes with beautiful views of the Valley of the White Horse and the Downs' rolling landscape.

We had a pleasant time during our stay in Liddington since it is a charming little village, where we discovered a wonderful bed and breakfast and where, just a short distance away by car, we were able to have dinner.
