Glasgow West End: Kelvingrove Park, a lovely park with a magnificent Victorian fountain, is a great place to begin your stroll. The Botanic Gardens are accessible from there by strolling along the lovely Kelvin Walkway, which follows the River Kelvin. Walk towards Byres Road, a busy thoroughfare lined with stores, cafes, and restaurants, after exploring the gardens.

Start in George Square, the city's centre, in Glasgow. You may then stroll down Buchanan Street, Glasgow's major shopping avenue, which is lined with high-end shops and department stores. Continue to the Merchant City, which is renowned for its hip pubs, eateries, and old-fashioned structures. The spectacular Glasgow Cathedral and the nearby Necropolis, a Victorian cemetery with beautiful vistas of the city, are not to be missed.

Start at the Riverside Museum, a wonderful transport museum situated on the banks of the River Clyde. Next, proceed to The Clyde Walkway. Take in views of the SSE Hydro, the recognisable Finnieston Crane, and the energetic neighbourhood.

Pollok Country Park offers a peaceful retreat from the city and is situated on Glasgow's south side. Visit the old Pollok House, take a leisurely stroll through the vast woodlands of the park, and observe the Highland cattle grazing in the pastures.

The Forth and Clyde Canal: From Bowling in the west to Grangemouth in the east, the Forth and Clyde Canal is traversed in this walk. Walk down the canal, passing through serene scenery and ancient sites like the Roman Antonine Wall, beginning at the Falkirk Wheel, an astonishing spinning boat lift.
