Speyside Way: Garmouth is a stop on the Speyside Way, a long-distance trail. It extends from Buckie on the Moray coast to Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park and is roughly 65 miles (105 kilometres) long. Forests, farming, and the picturesque banks of the River Spey are just a few of the varied scenery that can be seen along this walk.

Ben Rinnes: Although not situated in Garmouth, the well-known mountain is close by and is situated approximately 13 miles (21 kilometres) southwest of the town. It has a height of 2,759 feet (841 metres) and provides sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. Ben Rinnes' summit walk can be a strenuous but worthwhile experience.

The Moray Coastal Trail is a long-distance footpath that runs along the Moray Firth shoreline for around 50 miles (80 km). Garmouth is close to the path, albeit it is not immediately on it. From adjacent towns, you may reach some of the trail. You may experience the stunning coastal vistas, cliffs, sandy beaches, and wildlife habitats on this walk.

Culbin Forest is a sizable forest area close to the community of Findhorn that is renowned for the variety of flora and animals it supports. It includes a network of routes that are appropriate for people of all fitness levels, from quick strolls to strenuous excursions. The forest offers a peaceful environment for appreciating nature and discovering its distinctive ecosystem.

It is always a good idea to check with local authorities, visitor centres, or internet resources for the most recent information on hiking trails in Garmouth and the surrounding region because conditions and trail accessibility may have changed since my previous update.

Please note: Please check prior to your activity that starting point has public parking areas or can be accessed using public transport.
