Perth is a city in central Scotland, located on the banks of the River Tay, a historic county town of Perthshire, the original Roman fort of Bertha, here you will find Scone Palace, immortalised in Macbeth, was the home of the Stone of Destiny used as the seat to crown the kings of Scotland seized in 1296 by the English. In 1950 Scottish Nationalists returned the stone to Scotland, the stone was found 4 months later in Arbroath, today the stone now resides in Edinburgh Castle.
