Bennachie: A group of hills close to Inverurie, Bennachie has a variety of hiking trails for hikers of all experience levels. The Mither Tap track, which leads to the summit of Mither Tap and offers stunning views of the surroundings, is the most well-known route.

The beautiful Lochnagar mountain is located in the Cairngorms National Park. The ascent is strenuous but rewarding, offering breathtaking views of the loch and the nearby peaks. For this trek, it is advised to have prior hiking expertise and the necessary gear.

Glen Tanar: There are numerous walking and trekking routes in this lovely glen. There are clearly marked trails on the Glen Tanar Estate that meander through forests, next to rivers, and up to higher vantage areas. It's a wonderful location for spotting wildlife and taking in the tranquil Scottish countryside.

Morven: Morven is a notable hill that is close to Ballater. The Cairngorms and the seashore may be seen in all their glory as you make your way to the summit. Although the ascent might be challenging at times, the breathtaking views make the effort worthwhile.
