Embo is a small coastal community which is part of the Highlands, located on the east coast, close to the community of Dornoch. The area is renowned for its scenic surroundings and lovely sandy beach. Visitors come to the village to take in the local natural beauty and partake in outdoor activities including walking, birdwatching, and visiting the adjacent Dornoch Firth. A number of golf courses, including the well-known Royal Dornoch Golf Club, are readily accessible from Embo.

Outdoor exploration: Sutherland is renowned for its beautiful scenery and unspoiled environment.
