Lossiemouth Coastal walk: From Lossiemouth to Burghead, this walk follows the shore and provides breathtaking views of the Moray Firth. You can take a leisurely stroll while taking in the wildlife and marine vistas along the beach, dunes, and cliffs.
Bin Hill Nature Reserve: Bin Hill is a nature reserve close to Elgin with a number of routes leading through open moorland and up to the peak of Bin Hill. The trails provide a chance to see local wildlife as well as beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
Roseisle Forest offers a network of pathways through pine forests, sand dunes, and along the lovely beach. It is located between Elgin and Burghead. The area is renowned for its plentiful birds, and you may pick between short excursions and longer trips.
Ben Rinnes is a well-known peak in the Cairngorms National Park, although being a little farther away from Elgin. Beautiful views of the surroundings may be seen on the top trek. Be ready for a high rise because it's a moderately difficult hike.
Duffus Castle walk: Beginning from Elgin Cathedral and leading through the countryside to Duffus Castle, this walk takes you on a historical tour. You'll drive through lovely farms and take in the region's rich history along the way.
