Slochd Pass Visitors Guide

Slochd Inverness-Shire

This is the summit (1,332 ft) of the road and railway route over the southern Monadhliath mountains, between the valleys of Dulnain and Findhorn. It is a short pass emerging to the north on a wide heather clad hillside.

This route through the high hills was once considered very dangerous.
