We were taken aback by the size of the estate as well as the significance of the family in the annals of United Kingdom history. Our guide, who was great, was not only highly informed but also quite funny, which made our tour of the castle a lot of fun as well as educational. Extensive outdoor garden areas. Worth every single cent.
