Tain Through Time museum
The site is in three parts, and after the main building you visit the old Kirk with the Art & Crafts style stained glass with its horticultural themes, there were some interesting memorials some of which shed light on the religious turmoil in Scotland through the ages, the museum is small but the displays are very well done and well worth a visit, altogether they provide a very good visitor experience, and tell the story of Tain in considerable detail and the illustrated history of the town and the importance of the Ross clan.
