Reraig Forest is located in Lochcarron, at the end of the public road at Ardneaskan take the forest road over the hill to Reraig.
This is a picturesque spot Situated on the edge of a very small village with a Hotel and a Shop selling food, general supplies also including a Post Office, Off Licence and several old cottages around a village pond.
Part of the old stable block is a National Trust interpretative centre and a sea loch, with pebble shore line can be seen in the background, giving you an insight in to how these have changed with time in a rural setting with wooded hillsides beside Loch Alsh.
Much of the surrounding woodland is managed by the Forestry Commission, planted as a commercial crop many years ago it is now reaching maturity.

There are many walks on Forestry paths and open hills for the more adventurous.
