Ratagan, The Pass of Mam Rattachan rises to 1116 feet with its summit acting as a boundary between Inverness-shire and Ross and Cromarty. The road runs from Shiel Bridge to Glenelg.

In spite of much planting of forestry fine views can still be had over Kintail and to Skye and there is it helpful viewpoint indicator at the top of the pass.
