To visit the castle take Noss Head road from Wick and at the end of the single track road you will find a car park and picnic area. The path direct from the car park is easy but doesn't really allow you to appreciate the best of this bit of coast. The route as described here is slightly longer, but includes a good cliff top section with views over Sinclair Bay.
