With a little more confidence you can venture out and explore the loch.

For those more experienced they have a fleet of traditional, closed cockpit river kayaks, perfect for learning river techniques and of course rolling.

With a security deposit the kayaks are available by the day or week if you are planning your own expedition.

Off the loch you can still access 4 miles upstream into the Insh Marshes Nature Reserve the biggest wetland of this type in Europe where you can see lots of wildlife or you can travel 1 mile downstream to to visit the two islands on Loch Insh where you can see the resident osprey most days in spring and summer.

The wildlife boat trip tours Loch Insh and sections of the Insh Marshes and River Spey.

The boat is a 28ft long passenger boat 'Molaise' with 12 seats and large glass windows she travels at 2-3 mph around the loch and downriver, whilst you are on board there is a audio cometary
